The great sage Parasara’s teachings are the basis of virtually all that we consider Vedic Astrology (Jyotish) today but, so far, the real knowledge of these teachings has been a closely guarded secret in a few Brahmin families in India. Now, for the first time, Pandit Sanjay Rath, heir of a tradition going back over 500 years to the great sage Swami Achutyananda Dasa, disciple of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, is teaching these secrets openly. This is a unique opportunity for those wanting to learn Vedic Astrology (Jyotisha). Every class is like a revelation for students and teachers of the subject alike. For the first time, Sanjay’s course is available with contact classes in North America. It is being mentored by Andrew Foss, PhD, Jaimini Scholar, one of the leading Jyotish teachers in North America. The course is divided into five ‘years’ though the second and possibly some later years may be broken into two modules due to the volume of material. Each module will be available online for up to two years so students can advance at their own pace. Each year, a contact class will be held to go deeper into certain key aspects. Certification Students can choose to sit exams after the third and fifth years for the Vedic Astrology qualifications of Jyotisha Pandita and Jyotisha Guru.
